Swing Dance Lessons & Open Dancing - The Central PA Swing Dance Club hosts free beginner swing dance lessons and dancing at their downtown Carlisle studio, The Green Door. Drop by 14 East North Street for a free beginner lesson from 7-8pm. You will be able to tell that you are at the right place because the door is Green! Open dancing to DJ music will follow the lessons. This is a wonderful way to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy the heritage of American music and dancing. No partner is necessary and all ages are welcome!

A Good Time at the Green Door - Officially, 25 people visited the Green Door during the Summerfair Swing Dance Lessons event. Unofficially, there were a few more that did not get signed in once the fun started. The instructors taught several groups the East Coast Swing Basic steps and the Ladies Underarm Turn. Everyone seemed to pick up the steps pretty quickly.
